Founded in 1978, Desran Holdings provides trucking services to assist companies that are maintaining oil and gas wells, doing workovers and completions. Desran provides dependable, quality service and over the years has acquired the equipment it needs to assist companies doing exploration and production in the Athabasca area. Desran works primarily within a 160-kilometre radius of Perryvale, which is located just south of Athabasca.

In addition to trucking, Desran supplies potassium chloride and inhibitor. Both of these chemicals are not readily available in the area, unless they are ordered and shipped in. Desran also supplies heated water to oilfield companies, making it significantly easier for service companies working in severely cold winter weather.
